"Behold, children are a gift of the LORD, the fruit of the womb is a reward.  Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one’s youth.  How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them; they will not be ashamed when they speak with their enemies in the gate.” Psalms 127:3-5

Welcome!  The ministry of Agape Youth Ranch, to put it simply, is to reach out to hurting teens, and help them to heal.  There are a lot of teens in our country who are struggling with life.  This is not necessarily the result of bad parents, nor is it necessarily the result of a "bad" teenager.  We live in a very complicated world, and we have only added to that complexity as our world has developed.  Agape's hope is to help the teens, as well as the families, to learn how to rebuild the lines of communication, and guide the teen back into a positive role in their family and our society.

You may be asking, "What is our role going to be?"  Well, that is still something of an open-ended question.  LOL.  We are going to be involved in the very beginning stages of the program.  While they are not yet open we will be helping with their summer camp programs, as well as their monthly weekend mentoring programs.  Bill's official title will be something along the lines of "Administrative Assistant."  That should be specific enough to denote the level of responsibility we will have, while keeping it vague enough to cover the wide range of duties we will have.  Some of the needs the ministry has, which we will be filling are in the areas of food service, hospitality, administrative (organizing, guest registrations, etc), as well as helping with some of the day to day needs of a ranch facility.
